The Board of Directors governs the Beaufort-Jasper Economic Opportunity Commission (BJ-EOC), a well-versed team that shares a vision for growth to aid in an ever-changing environment. One of our main tasks is to continue to increase the value of our services and obligations to our community.

Equally, the BJ-EOC staff and Board of Directors want to raise awareness of what your BJEOC does for the community and therefore create innovative avenues which stimulate ways to improve the self-sufficiency of our residents.

With the commitment and perseverance of the Board of Directors, employees, municipalities, community members, business partners, trust from customers, and support from various agencies, we will grow continuously and strive to meet our targeted results.

BJ-EOC is deeply committed to addressing the social determinants and investing in our community partners to advance equity. As such, we recognize that coming together to eliminate social and financial inequities is necessary and that change is required.

We thank our community partners for their continued efforts to ensure equitable human services for our residents. We also acknowledge there is much work to be done. As we are implementing multiple programs and projects at the BJ-EOC, we remain your partners in change-making.

Our residents need to know there are programs, services, and resources in our community to aid and provide guidance during times of need. We are obligated to assist our families; we want our residents to be good citizens contributors to our society.
